Previous to his recenet appointment as a Chair of Criminology Department at University of Salford, Professor Tim Hope taught BA and MA courses on crime and social policy in the Department of Criminology, Keele University, UK. Prof. Hope gained his PhD. in Sociology from the Faculty of Economics, University of London in 1989. Before moving to Keele, he served as a senior research fellow at the Department of Social Policy and Social Work, University of Manchester and as Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice and Fellow in the Center for Metropolitan Studies, University of Missouri-St. Louis, USA.
